Photo Oppurtunity

Recently, while in a pub listening to musicians play during the Traditional Feakle Festival, I was pleasently surprised. It was the first time I wore my bracelet/ring that I had made from a necklace I had that was broken. While the wonderful music was playing, I noticed that there was a man taking photos of the musicians. Next thing I know, this photographer was turning to me and complimenting my "beautiful" bracelet and asked if he could take a picture of it. I was delighted of course and was proud to tell him that I had made it myself. It turned out that he is a Hungarian artist and photographer and he gave me his card. I really enjoyed exploring his work on his gorgeous website and am delighted with this lovely photo of my work.
Take a look!

All that Glitters....

One of my all time favourite things-JEWELLERY!
Starting off, above, with a beautiful, heavy ring from Forever 21 and owl stud earrings my sister got me from Chinatown, New York.

Chinese porcelain style bracelet that I made myself.

A Classic rocking horse pendant from Accessorize.

My somewhat overloaded jewellery stand. I could have a worse addiction I suppose.

Bronze flower ring from River Island.

A brooch that I got as a presents for my tenth birthday from my Grandaunt.

Military Headgear

I plaited a vintage headscarf and added military style buttons, and now I have a brand new hairband.

Dickie Bow

A simply made dickie bow pin, compliments a lot of outfits. I think I might also try pairing it with a vintage jumper too.

Bow Headband

Oversized bow hairband I made from old curtain material and a button from old jeans. I love recycling!

Button Belt Buckle

Collection of colourful buttons makes a fun belt buckle.

Cocktail Button Ring

Once a button on a dress I wore as a little girl, now sewn onto elastic, its a fabulous cocktail ring!

Work In Progress

Recently decided to take out my collection of old beads and buttons to see if I could make something worth wearing.
